Coaching
With
a Coach you can gain new perspectives and insights about yourself and your
interactions with others. Friends, family, co-workers, employees and
bosses are naturally very supportive and encouraging. They also provide
valid feedback and challenges to adjust behavior. However, the personal
relationships can become an obstacle and although well intended, the challenges
may seem to be more for their benefit than your own. A Coach provides a
unique blend of safety and challenge. Safety is in the form of empathic
understanding and encouragement to look inward to reflect on personal values
and purpose then reconcile them to outward circumstances and
relationships. Challenge is in the form of direct feedback and holding
you accountable to focus on your goals and to take the actions needed to
achieve them. Dan Weber is a Certified
Hudson Institute Coach. To find out

Emotional Intelligence
Various studies have shown that
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a key determinant of success in life.
Studies have also demonstrated that EQ can be improved with coaching and
practice. People who want to increase self awareness and experience
greater success in life find significant value in understanding the EQ areas
they are strongest and lowest in. They create personal strategies to
develop skills in areas that are low and frequently work with a coach to
sustain the practice and realize the change intended.
To learn about increasing your ability to cope with environmental demands and
pressures of life, consider taking an inventory of your EQ. With an
assessment report in fifteen areas of EQ and a one hour personal debriefing you
will have insight into your personal strengths and possible strategies for
addressing potential challenges.
Dan Weber is certified to administer and interpret the Bar-On Emotional
Quotient Inventory (EQi®) developed by Reuven Bar-On, Ph.D. The EQi® can
be taken online through Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS) a leading psychological
test publishing company.
